The Company

Robert Half Executive Search (RH ES) has been retained to appoint an accomplished CFO to join the ELT of a specialised SaaS scale up enterprise entering growth phase.

Its multi market expansion plans are projected to be via acquisition and strategic partnerships, along with augmentation of existing offerings.

A critical executive leadership position, reporting to the CEO and partnering with the Board, you will shape strategy, guide capital allocation, and lead multi-market expansion to establish the company as the global standard in its chosen market.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO and partnering closely with the Board, as CFO you will help shape the company's long-term strategy, with your core accountabilities & impact to include but not be limited to the following;

Strategic Leadership & Capital Markets

  • P&L Ownership & Strategy:
    Partner with the CEO/Board to refine the long-term growth strategy and ensure financial and operational disciplines support rapid, multi-market expansion.
  • Expansion & M&A:
    Model and evaluate expansion opportunities, including supporting equity/debt capital raising, M&A, and strategic partnerships.

Financial Governance & Operational Excellence

  • Financial Oversight:
    Oversee all end-to-end financial operations: accounting, treasury, FP&A, tax, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Reporting & Governance:
    Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting in line with reporting requirements.
  • Investor relations:
    Accomplished strategic finance executive with proven hands-on experience across capital raising, investor relations, and managing board/regulator relationships.
  • Metrics & Systems
    : Establish and monitor KPIs and SaaS Metrics that drive accountability. Deliver run-rate modelling for strategic decision-making.
  • Scalability:
    Establish scalable systems and controls to underpin international expansion.

Team & Culture

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance team with strong analytical and commercial capabilities, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Your Profile

You are a versatile hands on finance executive, with ability to pivot from the strategic vision in dealing with investor relations to being hands on providing operational rigour ideally within a Technology / SaaS enterprise.

A strong understanding of SaaS performance metrics, successfully scaling SaaS, or digital platform business, ideally within the context of a successful Australian or international expansion environment would be highly desirable.

You will also lead well, providing exceptional communication, influencing, and leadership skills. Proven ability to inspire confidence across investors, the boardroom, and the broader market.
