Medical Director

NES Fircroft is recruiting for a Medical Director / Study Physician to join a global biopharmaceutical organisation focused on advancing innovative therapies in oncology and hematology.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an individual to act as the local medical lead in Australia, supporting late-phase clinical development programs and engaging directly with investigators, regulatory stakeholders, and the wider medical community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical oversight of clinical trials, including protocol design, execution, patient safety, and data review.
  • Collaborate with investigators and key opinion leaders to ensure high-quality trial delivery.
  • Analyse and communicate insights into the local therapeutic landscape to guide strategy.
  • Represent the organisation at scientific meetings and within the clinical research community.

About You

  • Medical degree; registration or PhD desirable.
  • Research or clinical experience in oncology/hematology.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical trials.
  • Strong knowledge of trial design, regulatory requirements, and patient safety.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills.
