More about the role:

Our Foundation is evolving and we're looking to add to our talented and high performing Finance team with the role of Accountant.

Reporting directly to our Head of Finance Operations and Reporting, this role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing general ledger entries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role supports the Finance team in driving financial performance and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting overall.

For those of you that like a little more detail, key responsibilities include:

• Manage month end processes in conjunction with the Head of Finance Operations and Reporting to ensure accurate monthly accounts

• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and processing appropriate general journals for month-end

• Manage the overall integrity of all revenue accounting and reconciliation of revenue between our SRM and Accounting systems

• Weekly cash forecasting to meet payables requirements

• Prepare and manage monthly payroll duties and preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)

• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards

• Preparation and management of annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process for the Foundation

• Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes

What you bring to the role:

Our ideal candidate is CPA/CA qualified with at least 5 years' experience. You are solutions focused with the ability to spot issues, take the initiative and make recommendations. You also have sound analytical and numerical skills, a great working knowledge of Excel and offer exceptional customer service and business stakeholder partnerships.

In addition to having outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, you are highly organised and have strong time management skills. You are flexible and adaptable, can juggle multiple projects at once, prioritising with ease and thriving under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You genuinely thrive in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.
