Market St Bakery - in Adelaide's iconic Central Market precinct - is seeking a creative, passionate and enthusiastic person to fill the role of Sourdough Baker - joining our progressive and dedicated team.

As we continue to grow so does our need for skilled, motivated and energetic staff.

We are looking for an experienced Sourdough Baker seeking long term permanent roles in a growing wholesale & retail business.

We are looking to engage a positive, motivated person with previous bread baking experience to work with the team to ensure that all products are delivered to the highest quality.

Our ideal candidates will possess a genuine excitement and passion for the industry, and the desire to build on an established career with a well-recognised group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To bake a high volume of superior Sourdough products.
  • To work in close conjunction with the Production Manager to ensure timing, standards & profitability targets are met.
  • To work harmoniously within the shared workspace.

To Be Successful In This Role

You will need to have:

  • Proven Baking experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Possess a strong work ethic
  • Excellent bread knowledge
  • A desire to perform at the highest leveL
  • The ability to work early mornings & /or occasional night shifts.

This is a full-time permanent position which will require flexibility and weekend work.
