This organisation is part of a large-scale industrial manufacturing and supply network with operations across multiple states, providing essential materials to support major infrastructure, construction, and resource projects. Committed to safety, operational excellence and sustainability, they are currently seeking an HSE to support their Melbourne operational footprint.
About the Role
As the HSE Manager, you will support the leadership team, and guide the general workforce in the understanding, implementation and continuous
improvement of the HSE strategy with the aim of achieving the organisation vision of being a safe, healthy, productive and sustainable business.
About You
As an exceptional talent, you will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience gained from within exploration, heavy industry, manufacturing or similar high risk work environments
- Experience working in heavily regulated environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively from workforce level, through to Executive level
- The ability to partner collaboratively, engage and influence across multiple leadership stakeholder groups
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills
- Proven experience in leading incident and investigation and route cause analysis
- Experience in driving HSE initiatives and programs to achieve required outcomes
