This role is perfect for uni students or anyone wanting flexible hours in a social and engaging environment. You'll be hosting games, guiding painting sessions, engaging with customers, and helping create memorable experiences for every group that walks through our doors.

We're looking for people who:

• Are confident and comfortable engaging with people of all ages
• Love delivering great customer service
• Have a friendly, upbeat attitude
• Pay close attention to detail and take pride in keeping things clean and well-presented
• Show initiative and can think on their feet to keep things running smoothly

Requirements:

• Customer service experience is a plus
• Must have your own transport
• Must be available nights and weekends
• Must be in town for most of December and January

What to expect?

As a Casual Game & Experience Host at Riddle Room and Splash Lab, you will play a key role in creating fun, memorable, and safe experiences for our customers. You'll be responsible for welcoming guests, guiding them through their activity, and ensuring our venues run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Riddle Room

• Set up the escape room experience before each booking
• Brief customers on safety guidelines and what to expect
• Monitor the group's progress during the game, providing clues when necessary
• Debriefing the group and providing positive feedback
• Reset the escape rooms accurately and promptly between sessions
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the venue

Splash Lab

• Prepare the splatter paint studio for each session
• Welcome and brief participants on safety and creative guidelines
• Assist guests during the experience to ensure they have a great time
• Clean and reset the studio between sessions
• Maintain smooth operations by keeping the space organised and ready

General Duties

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas
• Use initiative to assist with other operational tasks as needed
• Working individually and part of a team
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest leaves with a positive experience
