Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens is located just outside of Mullumbimby in the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland. Lotus Cafe is our vegetarian cafe located within Crystal Castle, with a focus on healthy, nourishing food that delights our guests.

What we need from you

  • Genuine 2+ years of cafe experience
  • Experience in both FOH and BOH environments
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Positive approach to all tasks
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to cash up and close the cafe
  • Great communication skills
  • Self-motivated with initiative
  • Team player
  • Own reliable transport
  • Flexibility with availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be available for the Christmas School holiday period
  • Coffee-making skills
