Do you love making coffee and providing high quality service to customers? We are currently hiring Café All Rounder positions to join our front of house team in Lismore

We are a busy local café located in Lismore and are looking to hire enthusiastic team members to join our café team. We are looking for ideally minimum 1 year of hospitality experience with some barista skills.

We have Casual, Part Time and Full Time roles available depending on roster availability.

About the Role

As a Café All Rounder, you are passionate about all things coffee You will specialise in preparing coffees and other beverages, alongside exceptional customer service. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely/efficient manner and follow all food safety guidelines.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all customers.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the café, including tables, counters, and kitchen areas.
  • Handling cash register duties, process payments accurately, and handle customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Supporting cafe operations by restocking supplies.
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Handling cash and card transactions.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

  • Ideally 1 year of cafe all rounder / barista / hospitality experience.
  • Must have flexible availability throughout the week.
  • Barista skills and/or food prep knowledge advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of general cafe operations in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
