About the Role

In this dynamic position, you will do far more than just crunch numbers. You will take ownership of the estimating function for commercial construction projects. From initial measurements to the final client presentation.

Your mission: ensure our bids are accurate, timely, and stand out from the pack, all while building trust with clients and collaborating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for office, retail, and hospitality fitouts.
• Solicit and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes to secure competitive pricing.
• Compile comprehensive tender submissions and bid proposals under tight deadlines.
• Present estimates and value engineering options to clients, confidently supporting our sales team in tender meetings.
• Liaise with project managers to hand over winning bids smoothly and refine cost data for continuous improvement.

About You

You are a mid level Estimator who doesn't want to stay behind the scenes. You have the technical chops and the people skills. Ready to make an impact on both our bottom line and our client relationships.

What we're looking for:

• Estimating experience in construction (commercial interiors/fitouts ideal) you know your way around plans, take-offs, and pricing.
• A charismatic communicator who can explain numbers in plain English and build rapport with clients and subcontractors.
• Sharp attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset to ensure no cost is overlooked.
• Hunger to learn and grow. You take initiative, tackle challenges, and thrive when given ownership.
