The Obstetrics and Gynaecology department is seeking a GP with Special interest, or rural generalist with skills in Gynaecology to join their Gynaecology Outreach clinic team. For many years the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and health Service has been running the FROGS clinics (Far North Queensland Obstetrics and Gynaecology Service) to provide patients in rural centres care closer to home. This is an exciting opportunity for a GP with special skills in women's health to become part of this service 1 day a week, to assist the Specialist and Registrar in the Gynaecology outreach outpatient setting.

Purpose of the role

Support the Specialist Womens Health outreach clinic team in the delivery of high-quality care to patients referred for Obstetric assessment within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

Your opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Medical Officer (FRACGP/FACRRM) to support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care, seeing new and review patients in the Gynaecology outreach/outpatient clinic, upholding excellence in clinical standards and individualised treatment.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) evidence as required for your employment in accordance with legislation/government policy and Directives.
