Hoa Nghiem Buddhist College is looking for an experience LOTE - Vietnamese Language Teacher that is passionate and enthusiastic in making language connection to school values. We are a Buddhist school that provides interactive learning and unique learning experiences. We are looking for  Vietnamese Language Teacher to be part of a small team. The position is open to a variety of applicants, and we can adapt it to suit your abilities, talents and availability.

Key Selection Criteria

SC1    Demonstrated knowledge of the LOTE curriculum. Demonstrated experience in responding to student well-being and learning needs.

SC2    Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI), guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth.

SC3    Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning, using data to inform teaching practice, providing constructive feedback on student learning growth.

SC4    Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community to support student learning, agency, wellbeing and engagement in LOTE.

SC5    Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with HNBC values.
