About the role

Blooms The Chemist is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join the team in Salamander Bay, NSW on a full-time basis. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients, ensuring their safety and well-being. This is a hands-on role that will see you working closely with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent customer service and optimise patient outcomes.

What you'll be doing

  • Dispensing medications accurately and safely
  • Providing advice and information to patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions
  • Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all patient interactions and medication dispensing
  • Ensuring the pharmacy complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of pharmacy operations and patient care

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration as a Pharmacist
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Pharmacist in a community setting
  • Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide evidence-based pharmaceutical care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a patient-centred approach to care
