The Opportunity

This is your chance to showcase your event management expertise across our unique environment , including hospitality, entertainment, sport and community services. You'll be the strategic leader driving seamless events that not only dazzle but deliver on commercial objectives while identifying new opportunities to grow our events business.

Essential:

  • Proven event management expertise with demonstrable flair for creating memorable experiences
  • Strong commercial mindset with P&L responsibility and budget management prowess
  • Business development capability - you'll identify and pursue new event opportunities
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement & networking skills - you'll manage relationships with finesse
  • Natural leadership ability to manage teams and vendor partnerships
  • Strategic thinking to develop innovative event concepts that drive revenue
  • Meticulous attention to detail while maintaining commercial focus
  • WHS compliance knowledge

Desirable:

  • Qualifications in Event Management, Hospitality, Business or a related field
  • Experience in higher education or similar complex stakeholder environments
  • Track record of growing event revenue streams
