Purpose of Position
Partner with local business leaders, corporate HR team and associates to deliver HR services in a proactive and solution-oriented manner and aligned with the business strategy for assigned client groups.
What you'll do
• Live, model and be the champion for our Veralto Core Behaviors - Apply Insights, Instil Trust, Deliver Results, Win as a Team.
• Act as HR Business Partner for Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), enabling business results by driving the full people agenda spanning HR systems, processes, compensation & benefits, associate experience, recruitment, talent development, leadership excellence, business partnering, organizational culture, and compliance.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business model & market, and closely work with Hach ANZ leadership teams to craft and deliver an associate value proposition both for existing talent and potential hires.
• Partner closely with the General Managers to drive Organizational Transformation: leading HR initiatives linked to the company Strategic Plan, driving good change management practices, and supporting the continued development of our high performing organization.  Challenge the status quo and champion new initiatives.
• Share qualitative and data driven insights in a timely fashion to leaders and partners that help craft the direction and delivery of business actions.
• Support & strengthen Hach as an employer of choice through flawless, speedy and zero defect HR essential services delivered to associates in areas of payroll, benefits, policy clarification, issue resolution, and management of concerns raised.
• Be the custodian of "One Team" in looking for avenues to collaborate as one Hach and Veralto team.  Identify and remove barriers that come in the way of working together as one team.
• Be an active proponent of high performance through participation in "extra mile" projects rolled out through APAC or global HR forums.
• Be the owner and shaper of core value drivers of HR such as retention, employee engagement, internal fill rate, diversity & inclusion, talent development, succession, and strategic organizational development.
• Deploy Veralto Enterprise System tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness in daily management/delivery of HR through continuous improvement.
Who you are
Essential:
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related subject area in which business knowledge and an understanding of human resource practices are gained.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering a broad range of HR services in a high growth, changing environment with a solid track record of successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives to make a real business impact.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
• You have a hands-on approach and actively meet with team members across the organization in order to understand the business deeply, drive engagement, assess culture and organizational health, and identify areas for improvement.
• Proven track record of horizontal leadership, resilience, self-reliance, right decision making, and influencing leaders through coaching and negotiation.
• Proven record of accomplishment of establishing and effectively managing project plans, prioritizing initiatives and adjusting plans to changing circumstances as required.
• Proficient knowledge in Australia & New Zealand labour laws and government requirements.
• Excellent written communication skills.
Preferred:
• Professional HR certification.
• Experience developing & implementing major organizational change projects.
• Experience managing and developing others, either as a manager or mentor.
• Experience using Workday would be an advantage.
• Strong computer skills (focus being Microsoft Office 365).
