About the role:This is a permanent, full-time position (Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week) based at our Armidale site. Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Area Manager, the IEA Job Coach works to deliver high quality, tailored and supportive case management to Participants living with disabilities. The IEA Job Coach will provide exceptional customer service and complete a range of operational tasks to support their caseload. The IEA Job Coach will liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to support the progression of their Participants, and to ensure achievement of contract delivery and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Key areas and objectives for this role are:

  • Deliver empathetic, high-quality customer service to individuals from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Manage and mentor a caseload of Participants, supporting their progression through tailored plans and goal setting.
  • Build strong relationships with employers and community stakeholders to create placement and support opportunities.
  • Coordinate activities and referrals aligned with Participants goals, including training, education, and non-vocational support.
  • Provide personalised post-placement support to Participants and employers, ensuring sustainable outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with BEST and departmental guidelines, policies, and privacy principles.
  • Commit to continuous improvement and professional development, contributing to a safe and high-performing workplace.

About you:

  • You're a self-motivated and resilient individual with a positive attitude and strong people skills.
  • You're passionate about helping others achieve their goals and thrive in a community-focused role.
  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, or client support is valued but not essential.
  • Class C Driver's Licence.
  • Clear National Criminal History Check.
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
