The company is seeking a new junior/ cadet/graduate, with a technical mindset looking to kick-start a long rewarding career. The intent of this entry level position is for the successful applicant to gain continual progression through training in most aspects of the business, including: production, sales, logistics, scheduling and project administration.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting the Project/Scheduling Manager in submitting tenders and proposals.
  • Transpose information from construction drawings to production/manufacturing area.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure supply continuity of quality steel reinforcing products.
  • General office duties

You need to have a general understanding of the construction process and the ability to extract detailed information from construction drawings. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of energy, attention to detail and commitment to ensure the client's needs are met.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), a "can do" attitude. You will also have to demonstrate the following:

  • An eye for detail
  • A willingness to learn
  • High work ethic
  • Technical ability to read construction drawings

Qualifications:.

  • This position will suit TAFE or University graduates.
  • A current driver's license
