**Full Job Description**
Transcend Workforce is seeking an experienced Gantry Crane Operator with dispatch experience to join a leading steel manufacturing and reinforcement workshop based in Truganina. In this role, you will take ownership of the dispatch function, including picking orders and loading trucks using a gantry crane.

**$39.60 per hour** | **Monday to Friday** | **6:00am - 2:00pm**

**Gantry Crane Operator / Dispatch**
- Operate a gantry (pendant-controlled) crane to load and move stock
- Load and unload trucks
- Pick heavy steel reinforcement orders
- Use bar code scanners to manage inventory
- Interpret and action manifests and customer orders
- Take full ownership of dispatch operations

**About You**:

- Proven experience operating a gantry crane - essential
- Background in steel reinforcement or similar heavy industry
- Dispatch experience is essential
- Strong leadership qualities and initiative
- Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure
- Full Australian working rights required

**Progression Opportunity**:
This role offers the potential to grow into a Team Leader position, responsible for overseeing the loading function and becoming the key point of contact for dispatch operations.
