Process Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Process Worker to join our manufacturing team in producing high-quality small carbon components for engine applications. This role involves operating machinery, assembling parts, and packing finished goods for dispatch. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate small manufacturing machines in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Assemble carbon engine components using hand tools and production fixtures.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure components meet required specifications.
• Accurately pack and label completed parts for despatch.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation, adhering to housekeeping and OH&S standards.
• Record production data as required (quantities, defects, batch numbers, etc.).
• Report any equipment faults, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
• Follow work instructions, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or factory environment.
• Ability to operate machinery and use basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15kg
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

Desirable:

• Experience working with carbon components or engine parts.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
