Physiotherapist Grade 3

Permanent Part-Time | 40 hours per fortnight

$52.70 -$61.56 Per Hour + Salary Packaging
About The Role
This newly established senior role provides advanced clinical expertise and leadership in physiotherapy services across our Care Communities. You will play a key role in supporting residents to maintain mobility, independence, and quality of life through evidence-based assessment and intervention, while mentoring staff and driving service development.

In This Role You Will

• Deliver advanced physiotherapy assessments and interventions for older adults
• Lead falls prevention, pain management and restorative care initiatives
• Mentor and supervise junior physiotherapists and students
• Support service development, quality improvement and clinical governance
• Act as a delegate for the Clinical Manager when required
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to achieve person-centred care outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evidence-based care
• Oversee caseloads and guide junior staff to ensure quality service delivery
• Lead clinical governance, quality improvement and evaluation projects
• Drive service innovation and contribute to research opportunities
• Foster strong communication across multidisciplinary and management teams
• Positively promote Grampians Health services and uphold organisational values

Skills & Experience

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
• Minimum 7 years' clinical experience, ideally in aged care or geriatric rehab
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative approach
• Advanced knowledge of aged care standards, falls prevention and rehabilitation
• Experience leading service development and quality improvement projects
