About Our School

St Mary's Cathedral College is a K-12 co-educational, dual campus, College from 2025. As such, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced teacher with a strong academic background to join our highly successful TAS Faculty. This is an ongoing, full-time position, commencing on Monday, 15 September 2025 or by negotiation.

Essential Criteria:

• have the ability to teach Stage 6 Enterprise Computing and Stage 5 Computing Technology.

The successful applicant will:

• have the ability to teach Stage 4 Technology Mandatory
• be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively
• a thorough understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements in TAS
• exemplary classroom practice and suitable qualifications
• dynamic and innovative practitioner of Technology with suitable experience in teaching, programming and assessment
• demonstrated knowledge of NESA syllabi including; assessment & reporting requirements which facilitate personalised learning
• confidence with the integration of technology into the curriculum to promote quality learning principles
• ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of the students
• sound interpersonal skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as a team member
• an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College.

You will have attained:

• a tertiary qualification in Education
• eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
