The opportunity
This full-time position is ideal for an experienced Economics or Business Studies teacher with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will bring a passion for engaging students, a proven ability to design contemporary, challenging learning experiences that foster achievement and critical thinking, and a solid understanding of syllabus requirements in Economics and/or Business Studies. The ability to inspire excellence in the classroom is essential, and experience teaching across both areas will be highly regarded.

About You
· Relevant tertiary qualifications to teach HSIE courses in NSW.
· Proven experience teaching Economics and/or Business Studies, with the ability to teach across both areas highly regarded.
· Willingness to participate in the co-curricular life of the College (noting that there are no regular weekend sporting commitments).
· Capacity to establish a supportive environment conducive to effective student learning.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, administrative, organisational and collaborative working skills.
· Flexibility and adaptability to the teaching requirements of the College.
· Willingness to actively support and participate in the life of the College, and the Catholic mission and Mercy values of the College.
· Willingness to participate in the co-curricular life of the College (noting that there are no regular weekend sporting commitments).
· Hold a current Working with Children Check number.
· Have appropriate NESA accreditation.
