About the role
We are seeking an experienced Clinic Nurse to join our team at Skin C Clinic' in Ipswich, Queensland. This is a part-time opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care and support to our patients. As a Clinic Nurse, you will be an integral part of our dedicated healthcare team, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
What you'll be doing
- Performing a range of nursing duties, including patient assessments, administering medications, and providing post-operative care
- Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with relevant medical and legal requirements
- Coordinating the flow of patient appointments and managing the clinic's daily operations
- Providing education and support to patients, promoting their overall health and wellbeing
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of seamless, patient-centred care
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment
What we're looking for
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a clinic or outpatient setting
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, plan, and implement nursing care tailored to individual patient needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach
- Proficient in maintaining accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality nursing care
- Eligibility to work in Australia
