Join a government organisation making a real impact in education by helping schools across the state connect with passionate, high-quality teachers. As a Teacher Recruitment Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of education by ensuring classrooms are staffed with the right talent, where and when it's needed most.
This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where your recruitment expertise will directly support student outcomes and community needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching vacancies, including screening, shortlisting, and employment offers.
• Partner with Principals and HR Business Partners to deliver tailored talent acquisition solutions.
• Maintain and support a talent pool of qualified candidates, encouraging interest in challenging and high-priority roles.
• Provide expert advice on complex recruitment matters and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
• Guide and support junior recruitment officers within the team.
• Collaborate across the recruitment team to prioritise and fill vacancies efficiently.
• Analyse recruitment data and prepare reports to inform decision-making.
• Promote an equitable, ethical, and safe working environment.
About You
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in recruitment, ideally within a high-volume or education-focused environment.
• Strong communication, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A willingness to quickly learn internal systems such as Springboard and ServiceNow.
Mandatory Requirements
• Willingness to undertake a Police Check
• Right to work in Australia
