KINNECT Gladstone are excited to welcome a new Occupational Health Nurse to our team. We are seeking a part time team member, ideally 3 days per week and we're open to flexibility for the right person - we're happy to find a schedule that works for you.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse seeking a rewarding role with genuine work/life balance. In this role, you'll be an integral part of our friendly and supportive team, conducting pre-employment medicals and contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Your day-to-day will include:
  • Conducting Pre-Employment, Periodic and Health Surveillance Medical assessments.
  • Performing Urine and Saliva Drug and Alcohol Testing
  • Conducting Neurological, Skin, Respiratory and Cardiovascular Medical Assessments.
  • Administering Immunisations (if registered).
  • Participating in occasional project work at client sites, such as Drug & Alcohol testing, which may require early starts at 6 AM, with an early finish.

  • Variety in Work: Occasionally take part in client-specific projects like early morning drug and alcohol testing, providing variety and compensated with additional pay or adjusted hours.
  • Client-Specific Work: Occasionally, there will be project work outside regular hours. For example, the team might perform drug and alcohol tests for a client requiring an early start at 6 AM. While such projects are not frequent, they provide variety and are compensated either with additional pay or adjusted hours.

  • You're a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (essential).
  • You have experience in Occupational Health, ED, or clinical nursing.
  • You excel at building rapport and strong relationships.

  • You hold a current Driver's Licence and have reliable transport.
