The successful applicant will:

  • Show a thorough knowledge of the Archbishop's Secondary Religious Education units.
  • Show a thorough knowledge of, or willingness to develop familiarity with, the ATAR Religion and Life and/or Religion and Life General courses.
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of and experience in using innovative digital technology in the classroom with the ability to teach Religious Education.
  • Demonstrate an educational vision consistent with the College mission.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional learning and personal growth.
  • Use effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Have excellent organisational skills, along with competent IT skills including the use of SEQTA.
  • Be committed to upholding Gospel values while actively safeguarding and promoting the Catholic ethos, as well as the Presentation traditions and practices of the College.
  • Have Accreditation to Teach Religious Education.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team, in the development of Curriculum, teaching and assessment materials transformed by digital technologies.

The successful applicant will have a warm and welcoming disposition, and demonstrate the ability to work well autonomously, as well as in a team environment.  They will need to display flexibility, creativity and excellent attention to detail.
