The role:

Applications are invited from outstanding secondary teachers who have 5+ years of leadership experience within a PDHPE/HMS department.  This position is permanent full-time, commencing in Term 1, 2026.

• Initial 3-year tenure as HOD.
• Attracts a Level 2 Leadership Allowance.
• Accountability across P-12.
• Leads a dynamic team of 9.
• NB - Saturday sport is not a requirement of this role.

The ideal candidate:

• NESA-qualified to teach in NSW.
• Demonstrated experience in faculty leadership.
• Demonstrated success delivering Stage 6 curriculum.
• Exposure to IB Sport Science highly regarded.
• Open-minded and forward-thinking in pedagogical and pastoral practice.
• A confident and communicative team player who makes a positive contribution to the life and culture of Kambala.
