With over 50 years of experience, Alliance Extra Staff is a trusted national provider connecting skilled professionals with leading health care facilities - including aged care homes, public and private hospitals, and health support sites.

We're currently seeking Kitchen Hands, Food Service Assistants (FSAs), and Catering Attendants to join our growing team across the Metropolitan and Southern Suburbs of Adelaide.

Kitchen & Food Service Roles

As a Kitchen Hand, FSA, or Catering Attendant, your responsibilities may include:

Setting up food and drink trolleys

Delivering meals and beverages to residents or patients

Preparing texture-modified meals and fluids

Creating fresh sandwiches and salads

Recording food temperatures accurately

Dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning

Maintaining safe and hygienic food service areas

What We're Looking For

To succeed in these roles, you'll need:

At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare or similar food service setting (Aged Care, Hospital, Disability, or Childcare)

Strong teamwork and communication skills

A current National Police Certificate (for unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups)

A Working with Children Check

Up-to-date COVID-19 and 2025 Flu Vaccinations

Availability to work flexible shifts - morning, afternoon, and on-call (minimum 3 days per week)

NDIS Clearance is highly regarded
