
Junior Contract Administrator

An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organised Junior Contract Administrator to kickstart their career with a company that values capability and curiosity.
You'll gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of construction projects - from tendering and procurement to contract management and project delivery - while learning from a seasoned team and working towards a Contract Administrator role.
You will play a crucial role in supporting our projects to be delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. Expect to work closely with project managers, estimators, suppliers, and subcontractors while developing the commercial and contractual skills that will shape your future in construction.
3rd year and above university students and graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of subcontract agreements and purchase orders
- Support project budgeting, cost control, and variation management
- Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes
- Participate in estimating and tendering processes, including compiling submission documents
- Liaise with site and project teams to coordinate procurement and delivery schedules
- Monitor progress claims and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist in the preparation of client and supplier communications
- Maintain project registers, including RFIs, variations, and approvals
- Learn and contribute to contract compliance, project reporting, and risk management
Key Skills
- Tertiary qualification (or near completion) in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Passion for construction and commitment to a long-term career in the industry
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Some experience in contract administration (preferred but not essential)
- Some experience in the construction industry in an administrative role (preferred but not essential)
- Familiarity with Procore or similar construction software (preferred but not essential)
