We are now looking for a reliable Warehouse Assistant,to become a key member of our team, based in Berrimah, NT.
We are a small and hardworking crew, who also love to have fun Working 8.00am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive environment, where your contributions will make a real impact on the smooth running of our operations.
This is a hands on, physical role, that is key in assisting with the management and handling of stock as directed with a view to achieving optimal accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Despatch
- Pick product in accordance with paperwork, ensuring accurate attention to detail is maintained at all times
- Placing of product in designated despatch area prior to loading into the delivery vehicles
- Assist with the loading of delivery vans and the double checking of product for delivery ensuring accuracy is maintained at all times
Warehouse Receivables and Stock Replenishment
- Unloading incoming stock from delivery vehicles / containers
- Checking incoming stock against delivery dockets for quality and quantity
- Placement of incoming stock into designated stock locations
- Re-stocking of picking locations
- Put-away of returned goods once all paperwork has been finalised
Other
- Perform all responsibilities in an industrially safe manner and observe all legal safety requirements and company safety policies
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse and external hard stand areas
- Demonstrate willingness and initiative when performing duties, communicating any suggestions for improvement to management
- Assist in the counting of stock in periodic stock-takes as directed by Management. o Ensure critical tasks are delegated prior to taking leave
- Understand and support the Company's mission, vision and value statements
- Understand and support the Company structure, policies and systems.
- NOTE: Heavy lifting is an inherent requirement of the role
Skills and Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience a must
- Forklift license a must
- Light truck license favourable
- A medical clearance will be part of this hiring process
