Cavum Consulting is seeking an experienced B2C Engineer to manage and improve our system infrastructure including on-premises server and storage systems, multi-cloud infrastructure, Office 365 applications, standard operating environments, and end user device management.

They will work within the Funding and Disclosure Reform Program and will assist the team to deliver positive outcomes for the program relating to the management and development of the program's infrastructure and systems.

Key duties and responsibilities

The B2C Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Work effectively across teams to provide systems expertise to enhance and improve existing solutions, including designing, developing, implementing, and testing solutions, in line with business requirements and software development standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to investigate and resolve complex issues with the operation of infrastructure and infrastructure as code.
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met and that a high standard of technical and design documentation is provided.
  • Define, develop and document the existing automation technologies to enhance the system's build, test and deployment capabilities.
  • Assist the application development teams with the development and maintenance of
    DevOps continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.
  • Work as part of an Agile Delivery Teams or the System Team
  • Perform additional duties or assume responsibility of functions as required
  • Perform additional duties or assume responsibility of functions as directed by the Director/Team Leader from time to time.

Essential Criteria skills

Azure AD B2C Mastery

  • Deep experience with
    designing, developing, testing, implementing
    , and
    integrating B2C tenants and policies
  • Skilled in
    User Flows
    and
    Custom Policies
    for real-world identity use cases
  • Confident troubleshooting identity and access management issues
  • Familiar with integrating third-party and legacy systems into Azure AD B2C

Microsoft Azure Expertise

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of key Azure services:
  • Application Insights
  • Log Analytics
  • Azure App Services
  • Azure API Management

Infrastructure-as-Code & DevOps

  • Familiarity with
    GIT version control
    and
    branching strategies
  • Experienced with DevOps CI/CD pipeline tools, particularly within Microsoft ecosystems
  • Proven ability to improve build, test, and deployment capabilities via automation technologies

Collaboration & Communication

  • Able to work within
    multi-disciplinary, geographically distributed teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A natural
    mentor
    who enjoys sharing knowledge and elevating team capabilities

Desirable Criteria
:

  • Relevant
    cloud or IT certifications
    , especially in Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with IT frameworks such as
    ITIL
    and
    TOGAF
  • Understanding of
    Commonwealth ICT frameworks
    , policies, and governance standards
