We are seeking a motivated, organised team member to assist in merchandising and marketing campaigns through the creation of sample packs and display boards, playing a key role in supporting our extensive retail network.

About the Role:

Your primary objective will be to maintain efficiencies in our merchandising warehouse while upholding the strong customer service standards Vulcano Design is known for. You'll be involved in the production of sample packs and display boards that help bring our beautiful tiles to life for retail customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of Sample Packs & Sample Boards: Organise and assemble high-quality tile sample packs and display boards to showcase our range to retailers and customers.
  • Stock Organisation & Warehouse Duties: Pick, pack, and dispatch samples, ensuring smooth operations, timely responses and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, contributing to a positive team culture and client satisfaction.
  • Compliance with Company Policies: Follow WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) guidelines and company procedures, including safe manual handling practices and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
  • Physical Duties: Assist with the receiving and despatch of samples including lifting of boxes with tiles when necessary.
  • Team Collaboration: Work independently while also contributing to the efficiency of a high-functioning team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in Tiling or Hard Surfaces: While knowledge of tiling or experience in working with hard surfaces is preferred, it's not essential.
  • Warehouse Experience: A proven well organised approach to warehouse operations, stock handling, or logistics is an advantage.
  • Attention to Detail & Organisation: You take pride in maintaining an organised, efficient work environment and have a keen eye for detail, especially when preparing sample packs and boards.
  • Great Work Ethic: A reliable, proactive approach to your work, consistently striving for excellence.
  • Customer-Focused: Excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to providing outstanding service to customers and colleagues alike.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift boxes of tiles and work consistently at packing samples, making tile boards, grouting and cleaning up for the work day.
  • Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills to assist with stock management, orders, and email and Teams communications
  • Passion for Craftsmanship: A genuine appreciation for the detail and high quality presentation with practical skills in the quality control  and understanding of our tiles.
