About the role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Sales Team Member to join our growing team at Sleepdoctor Fyshwick. As a Sales Team Member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store located in the heart of Fyshwick, ACT. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and a dynamic work environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing a warm and welcoming customer experience to all clients that enter our store
  • Assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, and making recommendations to help them find the perfect sleep solution
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to educate customers on the features and benefits of our range
  • Effectively communicating the Sleepdoctor brand and its unique value proposition
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets through excellent customer service and consultative selling techniques
  • Ensuring the store is well-stocked, organised, and visually appealing at all times
  • Collaborating with the team to improve store processes and contribute to the overall success of the business
  • Unloading/loading delivery vehicles, delivery & installation of goods

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a retail sales or customer service role, preferably within the home or furniture industry, though not necessary
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers and build rapport
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm for providing an exceptional customer experience and driving sales
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
