About the role

Christies Beach Medical Centre is seeking a qualified and experienced Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team in Christies Beach, SA. This is a part-time role - 3-4 days a week, will see you playing a vital part in the delivery of quality healthcare to our patients.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing clinical care to patients, including triage, emergency presentations, administering injections, wound management, and patient education
  • Health Assessments and Chronic Condition Management
  • Assisting doctors with examinations and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring the practice's clinical systems are up-to-date
  • Coordinating patient appointments and managing patient flow
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment
  • Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to deliver excellent patient outcomes

What we're looking for

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar role
  • 1-2 years of nursing experience required
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
  • Basic computer skills for medical software operation
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Current AHPRA registration and CPR certificate
  • Current Working with Children / DCSI clearance
  • Prior GP Practice Nurse experience preferred
