Description

  • Develop, test, and implement high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative technology solutions.
  • Ensure system reliability and performance by conducting regular evaluations and improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges to maintain smooth operations.
  • Document development processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for new projects.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend their application to enhance systems.

Profile
A Successful Senior Engineer Should Have

  • Proven experience in software development within the technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages and frameworks relevant to the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Experience working on projects within the retail industry is desirable.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
