Due to our clients continued success in the manufacturing industry, they now have exciting opportunities for experienced Fitters to join their team on a casual contract. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this role will see you working alongside other Fitters and Electricians on the removal and replacement of a machinery, as well as general maintenance in their Lonsdale factory.

This position will offer a minimum of 6 Months work, Monday to Friday Saturdays & overtime on day shift. $47.00ph penalties for overtime.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Removing and replacing on-site machinery
  • Basic use of power tools and fabrication
  • General/Preventative Maintenance
  • Liaising with production supervisors & team leaders to resolve problems
Successful applicants will possess some or all of the following:
  • Certificate 3 in Mechanical Engineering
  • Valid Forklift Licence, Scissor Lift, Working with Heights & Rigging/Dogging ticket – highly regarded
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a team and unattended
