Centre Leader – Direct an OOSH Service on the Northern Beaches

Are you a passionate OOSH leader ready to make a meaningful impact in one of the Northern Beaches' most vibrant school communities? We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Centre Manager to lead and elevate our Before & After School and Vacation Care program at Harbord Public School in Freshwater.

This is an fantastic opportunity to shape a high-quality service, empower a committed team, and create enriching experiences for children in a highly supportive school and parent community.

You'll work closely with the General Manager and P&C committee to ensure the service runs smoothly, safely and in line with National Quality Framework requirements, while shaping a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for children, families, and educators.

Your Impact

As our OOSH Centre Manager, you'll:

• Lead and inspire a dedicated team of educators
• Drive high-quality play-based and enrichment programs
• Oversee daily operations, rostering, enrolments & compliance
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children, families & school leaders
• Manage centre budgets and reporting
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive environment for all children
• Champion continuous improvement and team culture

About You

You're a confident and caring leader who thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused service. You'll bring:

• Diploma or higher in Children's Services/Early Childhood or relevant qualification
• 3+ years' experience in an OOSH/Nominated Supervisor or Centre Manager role
• Deep understanding of OOSH regulations, NQS & My Time, Our Place
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development
• Excellent communication, organisation & problem-solving ability
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
• All certificates including WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis must be held at the time of application
• A genuine love for working with children and creating enriching experiences
• Full Australian work rights are required for this position
