**About the role**
Make a meaningful impact in a child's life by providing compassionate support in their own home. Join our team and help nurture growth, build confidence, and create a safe space for a young individual to thrive
- Provide compassionate support to a child with complex needs, fostering a safe and nurturing environment
- Maintain a calm and patient demeanour, building trust and a positive rapport with the child
- Engage in therapeutic play and structured activities aimed at developing cognitive skills, emotional regulation, language, and social abilities
- Implement individualised strategies to address and manage behaviours of concern, ensuring a supportive and calm environment
- **Enjoy consistent shifts every Monday and Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM**

**About you**
- Experience with children who have complex needs, particularly in areas of emotional regulation and communication
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and strategies for managing challenging behaviours
- Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively engage with the child
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children with complex needs
