Are you an experienced collections professional looking to take the next step in your career? Join the dynamic team as a Collections Officer, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing overdue debts and enhancing the financial health of clients through efficient debt recovery practices.

About The Role

  • Execute comprehensive debt recovery strategies to manage overdue debts
  • Liaise with internal teams, insurers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collection processes
  • Negotiate payment plans with debtors and issue demand communications (letters, emails, phone calls)
  • Maintain accurate records using relevant systems and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality
  • Prepare collection reports for clients as required
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality standards

Key Requirements & Competencies

  • Results-driven with strong attention to detail and quality orientation
  • Resilient under pressure with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Collaborative team player with strong organisational abilities
  • Service-oriented mindset with high levels of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Minimum 1-2 years in a collections role or similar required
