Pacific Avionics is seeking a suitably qualified avionics maintenance engineer to join our team, providing a professional service in a growing, fast paced industry. With 26 years in the aviation industry, Pacific Avionics services a wide range of aircraft, providing modification, repair and servicing on small and large helicopters and fixed wing aircraft alike.

The successful candidate will be involved in avionics maintenance and modifications on a wide range of aircraft fixed wing and helicopters employed in a wide range of services such as Aerial Firefighting, Search and Rescue and Private/VIP.

As part of the Pacific Avionics team the candidate will experience working with a group of avionics technicians that take pride in their work and strive to provide a first class service to our customers.

Job Description:

The B2 AME performs avionics modifications, installations, scheduled and unschedule maintenance on fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Work is completed to manufacturers specifications and Pacific Avionics approved procedures with a high level of attention to detail, reliable and quality workmanship.

Suitable applicants will possess the following qualifications as a minimum:

  • Have obtained a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or similar industry training
  • Have at least 4 years experience in the industry
  • Hold a valid Drivers License and have a motor vehicle

The following experience and skills will be highly regarded:

  • Experience carrying out avionics modifications to aircraft
  • Capable of building wiring looms and harnesses to a high standard
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good workmanship and quality of all work carried out
  • Be able to work effectively as an individual and in a team
