We are seeking an experienced "ODI 12c Developer/Consultant" to design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Oracle Data Integrator 12c. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL processes, data warehousing, and ODI 12c tools. The role involves working closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality data integration solutions.

Required Skills:

  1. Technical Skills:

o     Strong experience with Oracle Data Integrator 12c (ODI 12c).

o      Having hands-on experience in developing ETL end-to-end processes using ODI 12c

o     Good knowledge of ODI Architecture like ODI Studio's components – Designer, Topology, Security, Operator

o     Having strong knowledge about ODI repositories (Master and Work Repository)

o    Good understanding of various knowledge modules in ODI 12c

o      Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).

o     Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.

o     Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

o     Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle BI tools is an advantage.

  1. Soft Skills:

o     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o     Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

o     Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development:

o      Design and develop ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator 12c.

o      Create and optimize mappings, packages, procedures, and Load plans in ODI 12c.

o      Implement data integration solutions for large-scale data warehouses and data marts.

  1. Data Integration:

o      Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, flat files, APIs, etc.) using ODI 12c.

o      Work with heterogeneous systems and ensure seamless data flow across platforms.

  1. Performance Tuning:

o      Optimize ODI 12c mappings, interfaces, and Load plans for performance and scalability.

o      Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in ETL processes.

  1. Collaboration:

o     Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data integration requirements.

o     Work with database administrators (DBAs) to ensure optimal database performance and storage.

  1. Testing and Deployment:

o     Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

o      Deploy ODI 12c solutions to production environments and provide post-deployment support.

  1. Documentation:

o     Create technical documentation for ODI 12c mappings, workflows, and processes.

o     Maintain documentation for data integration standards and best practices.

  1. Support and Maintenance:

o     Provide ongoing support for ODI 12c applications and resolve production issues.

Monitor and maintain data integration processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
