We're expanding our operations and are looking for a hands-on, motivated Factory Team Leader to help lead our production team and ensure smooth day-to-day manufacturing of our next-generation building products.

The Role

As the Factory Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, leading a small team of operators, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety in our manufacturing facility.

You'll be the key link between the production floor and management — ensuring targets are met, processes are followed, and continuous improvement is part of our culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a small team of production operators in daily factory operations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules to meet output targets.
  • Maintain product quality in line with HulkBuild's standards and specifications.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings and communicate production goals clearly.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Train and mentor team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Oversee operation of key machinery such as mixers, presses, and molding equipment.
  • Record production data, report on performance, and escalate issues promptly.

About You

You're a practical, proactive leader with strong communication skills and a passion for quality manufacturing. You lead by example and can motivate your team to deliver their best work every day.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Hands-on experience operating factory machinery.
  • Commitment to health & safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience in composite materials, timber, or construction products.
  • Forklift licence or mechanical aptitude.
