What will you be responsible for?
This role sits as part of our fast-paced Marketing team and reports directly to our Head of Marketing.
Your key activities in this role will be focusing on all Citation Group sub-brands across Australia and New Zealand to drive digital content resulting in brand awareness and business growth including:
- To develop and execute a robust content strategy aligned with agreed themes to drive lead generation, nurture prospects, and retain customers.
- Plan and coordinate multi-channel go-to-market strategies for all content-led campaigns.
- Create compelling content, including eBooks, whitepapers, blog posts, case studies, newsletters, email campaigns, video scripts, and infographics.
- Optimise content for SEO and track performance using analytics tools to measure engagement and effectiveness.
- Ensure content is repurposed effectively across multiple channels, including social media, email, and web, to maximise reach and impact.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice that enhances thought leadership and strengthens market positioning.
- Execute a targeted PR strategy, including drafting press releases and managing relationships with media and PR agencies.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, product, sales) to align content with business objectives and customer needs.
- Oversee and coordinate the workload of in-house copywriters and content contributors
What are we looking for?
We're on the hunt for individuals with a natural flair for collaboration and communication, passionate and resilient and bring a positive attitude to work each day.
- 8+ years of experience in content, communications, and/or copywriting.
- Background in a SaaS/B2B/HR/legal environment is essential.
- Strong planning, organisational, and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, engage stakeholders, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience executing content strategies across various formats, including longform content, email marketing, and multimedia scripts.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Familiarity with content management and marketing automation platforms (e.g., WordPress, Pardot, HubSpot, ).
- Ability to track and report on content performance, ensuring continuous improvement and optimisation.
- Strong team player with a proactive approach to workload management and communication.
- Demonstrated alignment with Citation Group's culture and values.
