**About the role**:
We currently have an opportunity for a
**Project Support Officer **to join our team in the maritime domain. Nova Systems is proud to be a trusted partner across most of Australia’s major Maritime defence acquisition and sustainment projects, including the Collins-Class Submarine Sustainment, Nuclear Powered Submarine Task Force, Arafura-Class Offshore Patrol Vessel Acquisition, Regional Maintenance Provider - Northeast and others, offering our consultants the opportunity to gain diverse and highly desirable experience through both short
- and long-term secondments. This role will be based in
**Canberra.**

**What will you be involved in**:

- Drafting and reviewing project documentation, reports and briefs
- Developing and maintaining project schedules
- Engaging and managing both internal and external stakeholders
- Project administration, including managing project documents in corporate document management systems
- Preparing and distributing project, financial and resource reports

**What we expect from you**:

- Australian Citizenship with an AGSVA clearance
- Previous experience in a project support officer role or similar, ideally in the defence industry
- Experience with Microsoft project or similar, the MS Office Suite and PDF software
- Working knowledge of Professional Services Automation/an ERP system such as Open Air
- Experience working with other project management tools, SharePoint and/or databases
- Experience with the Defence Records Management System (DRMS)
- Strong teamwork, prioritisation, time management, and written and verbal communication skills
