Located in the heart of North Adelaide, The Lion Hotel is a multi-award-winning venue renowned for its exceptional food, vibrant atmosphere, and versatile event spaces. From weddings to corporate launches to milestone celebrations, we're trusted to deliver memorable experiences.

We are currently looking for an experienced full-time Duty Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work across multiple departments including, restaurant, bar and functions;
  • Provide ongoing training to the team;
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the business positively;
  • Stock control and ordering;
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly;
  • Assist venue management in writing daily reports to be communicated to the team; and
  • Build strong relationships with all employees and customers.

About you:

  • RSA and RP qualifications essential;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role;
  • Experience in running functions is highly desirable;
  • Confident, friendly, and can work independently;
  • Solid wine, beer, spirit, and cocktail making knowledge; and
  • Team player focused on driving great team culture.
