About the role:
You'll play a key role in keeping our financial processes running smoothly and ensuring compliance with trust account regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero and Actionstep
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Matter billing
- Reconciling statutory trust, office and controlled monies accounts
- Supporting compliance with Trust Account regulations
- Completing end of month and end of financial year procedures
About you:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a legal bookkeeping or accounts administrator role
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Confidentiality and integrity across all aspects of the role
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with statutory trust accounts and Actionstep (highly regarded, but not essential)
