About the role:

You'll play a key role in keeping our financial processes running smoothly and ensuring compliance with trust account regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero and Actionstep
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Matter billing
  • Reconciling statutory trust, office and controlled monies accounts
  • Supporting compliance with Trust Account regulations
  • Completing end of month and end of financial year procedures

About you:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a legal bookkeeping or accounts administrator role
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Confidentiality and integrity across all aspects of the role
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience with statutory trust accounts and Actionstep (highly regarded, but not essential)
