Hume Doors & Timber (QLD) Pty LtdisAustralia's leading Door Manufacturer and Timber Wholesaler.  The company is 100% Australian-owned and markets its products to the hardware, timber and building industries.

We are looking to employ an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic person to join our growing timber department in an Internal Sales and Inventoryrole.  The position is available at our Kingston facility.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to join our timber department during a period of unprecedented growth.  The department consists of a small team of experienced, dedicated staff led by a highly experienced Manager.  We are looking to employ someone who can hit the ground running, is keen to learn new skills, can adapt to changing priorities as the needs of the business change and who can become a critical part of our team.

The role involves a diverse range of duties including, but not limited to:

  • Entering customer orders
  • Responding to customer sales enquiries
  • Raise shipping documentation for high-volume imported stock
  • Process receipts in our purchasing/inventory system for incoming goods
  • Raise sales invoices and price checking
  • Book transport for outgoing goods
  • Actively participate in our EOM stock count
  • Variance analysis and re-counts post-stocktake
  • Prepare invoices for overseas suppliers to support our AP team

General admin duties, as required

In order to assist you to excel in this role, a period of internal training will be provided.

We utilise the PRONTO-Xi software throughout our company, so any exposure to Pronto would be an advantage.  Previous experience within the hardware industry would also be an advantage, however it is not necessary.
