Kinda Kapers are family owned Early Learning Centres with locations across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter. We cater for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, and have been educating and caring for the children of the Hunter for over 30 years

We are seeking a nurturing, caring, energetic, and motivated, qualified & experienced educators to join our team -  Diplomas & ECTs. We would also happily discuss with Cert III educators that have almost completed their Diploma.

Candidates should be eager to embark on the next phase of their career, taking on the pivotal role of overseeing the supervision, care, and education within our rooms. Trained Applicants are required to have:

• An ACECQA approved a Diploma or ECT Degree.
• First Aid Certificate with Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to plan, program and engage with children in their learning experiences.

Room Leader Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing the preparation of materials and equipment for educational and recreational activities.
• Planning, preparing, and conducting educational and recreational activities for children.
• Assisting children to manage their behavior and guiding their social development.
• Coordinating and overseeing the daily routines of children.
• Ensuring the hygiene and safety of children within the room.
• Communicating with other Educators and Families in the best interest of the children.

Must have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Approachable, friendly, caring, and positive nature.
• Able to work as a team member.
• A genuine passion for educating and caring for children.
• A degree of flexibility as moving between centres may be required.
• Experience across all ages groups.
