Mission:

Lead our small regional hotel and pub, guiding its transformation into a well-managed, profitable, and highly respected hospitality destination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence & SOPs:
  • Streamline daily operations, elevate service standards, and implement effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in all areas.

Financial Management & Cost Control:

  • Drive revenue growth while carefully managing expenses, particularly in food & beverage and accommodation, to ensure profitability.

Team Recruitment & Development:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a strong, capable local team, ensuring that the venue remains sustainable for the long-term
  • Ensure full compliance with state liquor, food, and accommodation regulations, maintaining high operational standards.
  • Would be beneficial for the applicant to have experience using Lightspeed.
  • Experience in RMS Booking system would be considered an asset
  • Maximise occupancy rates by targeting workers, travellers, and corporate bookings, setting the foundation for future growth.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Experienced Hospitality Manager (preferably in the pub/hotel industry) with a proven track record of implementing SOPs, improving financial performance, building strong team cultures, as well as elevating the customer experience.
  • Regional Experience is a plus, especially a familiarity with the dynamics of the pub and hotel scene.
  • Hands-On Leadership: We need someone who leads by example, not just through paperwork – someone who enjoys getting involved on the floor and directly impacting the guest experience.
