Full-Time Bartender – Jabiru Golf Club

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Bartender (38 hours per week) to join the team at Jabiru Golf Club, a busy venue located in the heart of the stunning Kakadu National Park. This role comes with heavily subsidized furnished accommodation, and offers a unique opportunity to enjoy a laid-back lifestyle, save money, and explore the World Heritage-listed park during your days off. Whether it's fishing, golf, boating, or sightseeing, you'll find ample opportunities to immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the local surroundings.

As a Bartender, you will play a hands-on role in the day-to-day operations of the venue. This position is well-suited to someone with a strong hospitality background who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a friendly community environment.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:
  • Current RSA certification (required in Northern Territory, valid for three years)
  • Previous experience working in a public bar (essential)
  • Strong hospitality background, ideally in a busy venue environment
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certificate (must be completed within three months of employment)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide friendly, efficient service in the bar, Keno, and take away alcohol counter
  • Handle cash, operate POS systems, and balance tills as required
  • Ensure compliance with liquor licensing and gaming regulations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and guests
  • Work across a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
  • Support the management team and assist with other duties as needed
