About the role

Finn Valley is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Newcastle and the Upper Hunter Region, NSW. As an Excavator Operator, you will play a vital role in our civil construction operations, operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment to support the delivery of our projects.

What we're looking for

  • Have minimum 5 years experience for excavators (GPS experience is an advantage, preferably Trimble)
  • Have a valid SOA & VOC with all necessary tickets up to date
  • Have a current driver license and own transport
  • Be reliable and able to work on your own and also with a team
  • Be available to work Saturdays
  • Be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime everyday
  • Be able to pass drug/alcohol/fitness screening
  • Be able to use a smart phone for online dockets and timesheets
  • Safety conscious and compliant
